It was a wonderful day in Kassel, full of sightseeing and enjoying regional as well as seasonal delicacies in our restaurant. The perfect time for visiting our wellness area has come. As your day draws to a close our sauna and the sanarium invite you in to unwind and relax. Our elevator will quickly take you to the Finnish sauna, the swimming pool and our well-tempered relaxation room. Your stay at FischerS will do wonders for your body and mind. Enjoy it to the fullest - you deserve it.

Always Treading New Paths
From wayfarers to the bodyguards of the Elector – they all delighted in the delicious food and refreshments more than 130 years ago. Our history begins in 1879 with the Forest Inn of Conrad and Elisabeth Fischer at the foot of the Hercules Monument. In no time at all it becomes the excursion tip for spa visitors and day trippers. Today, the modern café-restaurant/hotel Waldhotel Elfbuchen is run in the fifth generation by Lisa Fischer and Felix Franke – in a very special setting in the midst of nature. Regional cuisine, home-made cakes and gâteaux, and personal service delight our guests.
The forest and our desire to indulge our guests spur us on and 1983 sees Hans-Ludwig and Lieselotte Fischer opening the Kurparkhotel directly at the entrance to the Bergpark in the spa district of Wilhelmshöhe. From the very beginning, the commitment to the region and making our guests feel part of the family are central to our hospitality.
With the transformation of the hotel in Bad Wilhelmshöhe after another 38 years, 2020 and 2021 are characterised by change, renewal and a fresh direction. As is already the case with our restaurant at this address, the entire Wilhelmshöher Allee 336 becomes FischerS. Our family-run business continues to combine the time-honoured service and regional producers and suppliers with a relaxing and restful ambience. The cuisine we serve you in our restaurant and café is made from the best regional produce available. And in our stylishly designed modern rooms with their loving attention to detail, you will experience the new FischerS. We are sure that Conrad Fischer would be proud of this development.

You like keeping fit? Great. Try your hand at golf on a beautiful course on the edge of the Bergpark (mountain park). Set out on foot through the Habichtswald Nature Park on award-winning trails, cycle along the Fulda bike trail or jump on your mountain bike and head for the hilly regions of North Hesse. FischerS is the best place to start any such trip.
